Sun-Powered Nanotechnology Pulls Hydrogen From Seawater

3/2/2018

In a recent development, scientists in Florida have discovered that a certain nanomaterial pulls hydrogen from seawater much more efficiently than any other method tried. What’s more, it does so with only sunpower.

The science is dense, but the idea isn’t. Imagine seaborne vessels pulling power from the ocean as they go. And with only the sun needed, it would reduce the need for batteries.

The technology is in its testing stages, with a long way to go, but results are very promising. This new nanotechnology is just the beginning of what is likely to be a very disruptive technology for both civilian and military vessels.

We’ll see if we can pull some smart investing opportunities out of the air. Learn more here.
