The prospects for further gold and silver price appreciation has rarely looked this strong.

Despite the nice jump in price gold, silver and the mining stocks have enjoyed so far this year, we’re still in the early innings (perhaps still the first!) of this new precious metals bull market. If history is any guide, the real action still lies ahead.

In fact, if the early 2000s bull run is any guide the average gold stock will multiply four times from current levels — and the better ones could go up 10 times or more.

"We’re currently in the last phase of a gold bull rally, and this phase will see the most upside action, this according to Frank Giustra, chairman of Leagold.

​“I think we’re in the third and final phase of the gold market that’s started in 2001, and this will be the most explosive phase for gold,” Giustra told Kitco News.”

On Monday, President Trump announced that a contingent of fewer than 100 U.S. troops in Syria was being moved away from Kurdish-held territory on the border of Turkey. The move effectively green-lighted military operations by Turkey against the Kurds, which have now commenced.

Some U.S. military officials went public with complaints about being “blindsided.” The policy cannot have been a surprise, though. The president has made no secret that he wants out of Syria, where we now have about 1,000 troops (down from over 2,000 last year). More broadly, he wants our forces out of the Middle East. He ran on that position. I’ve argued against his “endless wars” tropes, but his stance is popular. As for Syria specifically, many of the president’s advisers think we should stay, but he has not been persuaded.

Impeachment...or CIA Coup? by Ron Paul

You don’t need to be a supporter of President Trump to be concerned about the efforts to remove him from office. Last week House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced impeachment proceedings against the President over a phone call made to the President of Ukraine. According to the White House record of the call, the President asked his Ukrainian counterpart to look into whether there is any evidence of Ukrainian meddling in the 2016 election and then mentioned that a lot of people were talking about how former US Vice President Joe Biden stopped the prosecution of his son who was under investigation for corruption in Ukraine.  

Democrats, who spent more than two years convinced that “Russiagate” would enable them to remove Trump from office only to have their hopes dashed by the Mueller Report, now believe they have their smoking gun in this phone call.  

It this about politics? Yes. But there may be more to it than that.  

It may appear that the Democratic Party, furious over Hillary Clinton’s 2016 loss, is the driving force behind this ongoing attempt to remove Donald Trump from office, but at every turn we see the fingerprints of the CIA and its allies in the US deep state.

Former U.S. military officials told The American Report that the foreign surveillance system known as “The Hammer,” built by CIA contractor-turned whistleblower Dennis L. Montgomery, saved the lives of U.S. troops engaged in the War on Terror. “THE HAMMER” kept Americans safe after 9/11, according to those military sources.  

Those sources further stated that “THE HAMMER” was a foreign surveillance tool with multiple echelons of safeguards and sign-offs that logged the identities of all U.S. personnel who accessed the super-surveillance system, up to and including the President. Those safeguards were put in place to ensure that “THE HAMMER” was never misused and turned into a domestic surveillance system to spy on the American people, obliterating their Fourth Amendment constitutional rights.  

In February 2009, under newly-elected President Barack Obama, John Brennan and James Clapper commandeered and repurposed “THE HAMMER” by expanding and transforming it from a foreign surveillance system into a private, parallel platform domestic surveillance system. That system was illegal."
